Hello everyone and good morning! Finally we are diving into March. I feel like February was so long, and just so crazy. Of course, the beginning of the month means a new monthly TBR. I don’t strictly stick to a monthly TBR, since I am such a mood reader, but I feel like this month is going to be a big month for horror/mystery thrillers. I read A Stranger in the House last month and ever since then, I have had a craving for it. I’m not fully in a contemporary mood yet, but there are a couple on this list I just might get to.

Misery – Stephen King
I just ordered this as an audiobook from Libby and I am excited. Honestly, the first time I heard about this book, was from Family Guy. They did an episode where they re-did famous Stephen King stories and made them into little segments in the show using the Family Guy cast. I think the best segment in the show was the re-imagining of Misery. Misery is about a really famous author named Paul and gets into an accident during a snowstorm. He’s rescued by Annie, a fan of his popular series. When Annie finally reads the last book in the series and realizes the main character has been killed off, Annie makes Paul re-write an entire book ensuring the character will come back. Annie holds him hostage while also having two broken legs. I mean, this just sounds so good and super creepy and let’s just say I am really excited for this one. Also, my first Stephen King novel.

The Third Twin – CJ Omololu
This one I don’t hear like anything about, but I have owned this book since June of last year, and I think it is time to read it. This one is about a set of twins who made up a third twin to basically blame that twin on all of the bad things they did. Suddenly one of the twins boyfriends has turned up dead, and evidence points to that twin. Then another boy is murdered, and still points back to that twin. Is it the twin murdering the boys in town, or the third twin who they thought never existed? I don’t know, it just sounds super cheesy, super fake and predictable so I don’t know I’m not too excited to read it, but it has to be done. I have had it for too long and it needs to be read!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone – Laini Taylor
This is one I don’t know a whole lot about, but am very excited to start. I have heard constant positive things about this book, so I most likely will be picking this up in March. I know there’s paranormal elements with angels, a bit of romance. Who knows, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a 5 star read.

Crazy House – James Patterson and Gabrielle Charbonnet
Another one I have owned for too long that needs to be read. I’m going to do this one a little differently, I am going to read this while listening to an audio book. Something I have never tried, but it might be something new that I can be into. I don’t know a whole lot about this book, other than it’s about a sister being put into like some type of prison and the other sister having to save that sister. I honestly have no idea, I just know its like a thriller-horror and I am hoping it will be good.
So those are some of the books I hope to read this month of March. What do you guys hope to read this month?
Oooh! I keep meaning to get to Misery! Enjoy!

Daughter of Smoke and Bone is definitely good. I read it around this time last year and really loved it! I hope you’ll enjoy it.
