August 2019 TBR

Hi everyone! Really exciting reading month this month since I will be participating in Disney-a-thon! This is a month long Disney read-a-thon taking place this month in August and was created by @izcurrentlyread and co-hosted by @natureofpages, @TheFranciscoMP, and @celebrityreadsh. If you want more info on this read-a-thon, you can find literally every piece of info you’ll need on their twitter page @disneyreadathon.

So basically how this works is everything is split up into 4 teams: The Lion King, Aladdin, Tangled, and Mulan. I am on the Tangled team! Yay!

Since I’m on team Tangled, I can jump to whatever prompts I like, but definitely check the rules on which direction your team should go if you aren’t on this team. I’ll basically keep going throughout the month of August and try and see how many prompts I can get through and how many points I can score for my team. These are each teams prompts:

So since I’m starting in Tangled, I’ll set up my starting TBR!

Team Tangled TBR:

Rapunzel – Read a book with glowing reviews:

Autoboyography

Autoboyography – Christina Lauren

Flynn Rider – Read a dark/mysterious book:

The Third Twin

The Third Twin – C.J. Omololu

The Snuggly Duckling Crew – Read a book with a dreamy cover:

Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating

Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating – Christina Lauren

I think after these book’s I’ll probably switch to different prompts so.. Idk. We will see.

List of group books for all groups:

  1. Team Lion King: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe – Benjamin Alire Sanz
  2. Team Aladdin: The Last Magician – Lisa Maxwell
  3. Team Tangled: A Curse So Dark and Lonely – Brigid Kemmerer
  4. Team Mulan: Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim
