Hi everyone! This is the first post in a series of post’s I’ll do about books I’d recommend regarding the length of the book. I know there have been times where I look up on the internet ‘quick books I can read in under 2 hours’ and so on and so forth and I really wanted to start this little series of recommendations. Since this is the first one I won’t have any similar posts linked at the bottom but in the future this post and many others will be in links at the bottom. Not all of these posts will be about short books… I definitely want to do long book recommendations too, so we’ll get that happy medium in there.
(1) Fairest Of All: A Tale of the Wicked Queen (Villains #1) – Serena Valentino (250 Pages)
I LOVED THIS BOOK! I read it late in 2018 and I fell absolutely in love with it. I think it’s one of the first book’s I read where I was actually cheering for the villain to still be a villain. Not cheering them on to be GOOD, but cheering them on to be bad if that’s what they chose. I’m sorry but this woman had the right to be angry. One of my favorite books of all time and I really, really want to read it again and annotate it/have the notes in my binder some time soon.
(2) As She Fades – Abbi Glines (270 Pages)
This was quick, and honestly… it messed up my mind. That plot twist has to be one of the best plot twists I’ve ever seen. Pure craziness.
(3) The Last Black Unicorn – Tiffany Haddish (288 Pages)
Although this wasn’t one of the best biographies I’ve ever read… it was pretty funny. I got through it within a day, and I highly recommend you take a listen to the audiobook instead of reading it in print.
(4) Nimona – Noelle Stevenson (266 Pages)
A cute graphic novel which is hilarious, sweet, and about villains! All of my favorite things mixed into one.
(5) This Is Where It Ends – Marieke Nijkamp (286 Pages)
I know a lot of people didn’t really care for this book, but I actually ended up giving this a 4/5 stars. It did what it was expected to do, thrilled me and entertained me, I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time.
(6) The Perks of Being A Wallflower – Stephen Chbosky (213 Pages)
This story touched my heart. I honestly will never forget this book it just touched me in such a beautiful way. If you feel like getting in your feelings really quickly, here’s how you do it.
(7) The Great Gatsby – F. Scott Fitsgerald (180 Pages)
(8) Lord of The Flies – William Golding (182 Pages)
