Top Ten Tuesday #44 | Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads

Hello everyone and it’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday!

This was an idea created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

The rules basically go a little like this:

  1. Jana creates a new topic every Tuesday to make your list, and you create your own Top Ten (or three, or five, or twenty, however many you choose!)
  2. Link back your posts to That Artsy Reader Girl so when others read your post, they’ll know where to go to get more info about future upcoming topics.
  3. There is a linky widget on Jana’s Top Ten Tuesday post so other’s can see your post as well as you being able to check out everyone else’s! So definitely leave your links!
  4. Don’t be afraid to add your own twist to it

This week’s topic: Books On My TBR I Predict Will Be 5-Star Reads

(1) The Honey-Don’t List by Christina Lauren

(2) Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

Red, White & Royal Blue

This book is just crazy hyped, but I’ve heard from literally anyone that it is an amazing book so I bet it will be a 5 star from me.

(3) Ready Player One (Ready Player One #1) by Ernest Cline

Ready Player One (Ready Player One, #1)

I watched the movie, loved it, and I have been wanting to read the book ever since. I guess this is being made into a series which is… interesting. BUT, I really want to read this to see if this will be just as good as the movie was.

(4) The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood

The Handmaid's Tale

I have not seen the Hulu series yet only because I have not yet read the book. I am ready for this book to not only be a easy 5 star rating.. but to honestly just completely fuck me up.

(5) Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles #1) by Marissa Meyer

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1)

I read the Renegades series and it was honestly amazing. So, of course I am going to put this book on this list because I cannot possibly count on hand the amount of times that people have told me that this book is amazing. Possibly even better than the Renegades, which I find extremely hard to believe, so this will be interesting.

(6) The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

The Silent Patient

I am so excited to read this. I haven’t read any thrillers in a long time, so I am very excited to get to this. This actually won a Goodreads Choice Award, so now I REALLY want to go ahead and pick it up. Hopefully this delivers on it’s promise.

  1. I hope these are all 5 star reads for you! I preferred the book over the movie on Ready Player One, but I still thought they did a good job with it. I’m enjoying RW & RB right now, and The Honey-Don’t List made my TTT today.
