WWW Wednesday #37 – 3/11/20

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a lovely Wednesday so far. It is definitely getting a lot warmer and sunnier, and I am just loving the fact that when I come home from work, I still can enjoy the sunshine.

Before we get into today’s WWW Wednesday, I just wanted to update you guys on what’s going on in my life and basically why I’ve been so MIA. If you look at my blog, it looked like I really only took last weekend off from blogging, since nothing was posted… but actually I haven’t truly scheduled posts since Mid February. I schedule everything in advance which makes life easier, but when you either don’t have the time, nor the mindset to type up a post, it makes the task a lot more difficult and eventually, you run out of pre-scheduled posts.

Work has been absolutely crazy these last couple of months, and I am pretty much at the point where if I’m not at work, I just want to be at home cozied up and playing my game. So if I can’t write posts at work due to being too busy, and if I can’t write posts at home because ya know… I’m pushing myself to the point of exhaustion, then we are going to have a problem.

Reading is also sort of becoming a pretty difficult thing to do, and since I am not reading, I really don’t have much to post about.

So, basically I don’t really know when I will be in the mood to type up posts again.. or to read. I’m just kind of taking it one day at a time. If I decide to read, great. If not, oh well. Same also goes with posting blog posts.

Today’s WWW Wednesday is going to be a little different. I am just going to go over some books I hope to read this week and that’s it. I’m really not in the middle of any books, and I haven’t finished anything. So here is what I plan or hope to picking up this week!

What I hope to read this week:

The June Boys – Court Summers

The June Boys

The Gemini Thief could be anyone. Your father, your mother, your best friend’s crazy uncle. Some country music star’s deranged sister. Anyone.

The Gemini Thief is a serial kidnapper, who takes three boys and holds them captive from June 1st to June 30th of the following year. The June Boys endure thirteen months of being stolen, hidden, observed, and fed before they are released, unharmed, by their masked captor. The Thief is a pro, having eluded authorities for nearly a decade and taken at least twelve boys.

Now Thea Delacroix has reason to believe the Gemini Thief took a thirteenth victim: her cousin, Aulus McClaghen.

But the game changes when one of the kidnapped boys turns up dead. Together with her boyfriend Nick and her best friends, Thea is determined to find the Gemini Thief and the remaining boys before it’s too late. Only she’s beginning to wonder something sinister, something repulsive, something unbelievable, and yet, not impossible:

What if her father is the Gemini Thief?

Sabrina The Teenage Witch – Kelly Thompson

Sabrina the Teenage Witch

Sabrina is a teen witch who’s struggling with balancing the double life of high school and her burgeoning powers. Newly relocated to Greendale with her aunts Hilda and Zelda (also witches), Sabrina is trying to make the best of being the new girl in town which so far includes two intriguing love interests, an instant rivalry, a couple of misfits that could turn into BFFs, and trying to save the high school (and maybe the world) from crazy supernatural events. NBD!

  1. It sucks when life gets the better of you, doesn’t it? Ever since becoming a mom and having to combine it with my job, I feel like so much time passes by without me even realizing where it’s gone? Not to mention when I finally have time to do something for myself but then it’s always a better idea to just head to bed and sleep. Ugh.

I hope you get to read some this week and take some time relaxing! 🙂
