Hello everyone, and happy Friday.
Today is a different post than what I usually write, and although I don’t usually post things like this, I thought that right now is the time to do it.
I know a lot of you guys are scared, and honestly… I am too. If you didn’t know, I currently live in New York State, where we have the most number of cases than anywhere else in the United States, and by a huge significant margin.
Scary, I know.
I just basically wanted to come out here today and say a few things to really let people know that someone gets the fear and the anxiety, because I totally have it too. First things first, I am fine. I am healthy, and my family is as well. My brother is home from college and my dad is home from work taking care of things, and doing a fantastic job at it, while my mom and I are stuck working due to being labeled as ‘essential staff’.
This weekend, I plan on doing the right thing and that is staying inside, and I encourage you all to do the same. There are so many things you can do while still being safe and protecting not only yourself, but everyone around you. You can go for a walk or bike ride, read a book, play a board game with your household members, color in coloring books, and literally so much more.
This weekend I plan on doing the right thing and staying inside and keeping myself busy. I plan on playing lots of Apex, reading a ton and doing A LOT of household chores. Laundry, disinfecting surfaces, organizing my disaster of a closet….. ya know. The normal stuff.
I encourage you guys to just take these few weeks, distance yourself from others and take care of yourselves! Find some peace of mind and just relax while all the chaos is around. I think the main thing this weekend I plan on staying away from is the news and the media, because honestly it is just getting to be too much.
Well, I hope everyone is staying safe, and if you made it all the way through this post, thank you for reading and listening. Please take care of yourselves! Let me know what you guys plan on doing this weekend. Any fun social distancing related plans? Let me know!
